Terms & Conditions

Introduction

By using the services of MIMAS – Café, Lounge & Bar (whether by dining in, placing an order via WhatsApp, booking events, or attending hosted programs), you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. These govern your use of our services and define your rights and obligations as a guest.

Service Scope

MIMAS offers the following services:

  • Dine-in restaurant and bar services
  • Event and party hosting (e.g. birthdays, kitty parties, anniversaries)
  • WhatsApp-based menu browsing and order assistance
  • Live music and entertainment events
  • Distribution of complimentary items (e.g., hampers, offers, gift vouchers)

All services are subject to availability, house rules, and applicable law.

Booking & Reservations

  • Table reservations or event bookingsmust be made in advance, subject to availability.
  • For party bookings, a token advance or full payment may be required.
  • Any cancellations or changes should be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. MIMAS reserves the right to forfeit the advance in case of late cancellations.
  • MIMAS reserves the right to modify or cancel bookings due to operational or safety constraints.

WhatsApp Menu Access

  • By scanning the menu QR code or initiating a conversation on WhatsApp, you consent to sharing your mobile number and basic interaction data for the purpose of service delivery and feedback.
  • You may request to stop communication at any time by replying to STOP or contacting our team directly.
  • MIMAS is not liable for any issues arising from the use of third-party WhatsApp or menu platforms.

Food & Beverage Orders

  • Prices listed in the menu are exclusive of applicable taxes. Service charges, where applicable, will be clearly mentioned on the bill.
  • All dishes are subject to availability and may change without prior notice.
  • Guests are advised to inform the staff of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or spice preferences before placing the order. MIMAS will not be liable for reactions caused due to non- disclosure of allergies or special needs.

Alcohol Service

  • Alcohol is served only to guests above the legal drinking age (25 years in Punjab, India).
  • MIMAS reserves the right to verify ID and deny service of alcohol at its discretion.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to intoxicated or disruptive guests.
  • For guest safety and awareness, MIMAS provides access to an in-house alcometer. Guests may voluntarily use it, free of charge, to check their alcohol levels before driving or leaving the premises.
  • Use of the alcometer is optional and self-administered. MIMAS encourages responsible drinking and safe transportation choices.

Offers, Events & Promotions

  • Offers or promotional discounts (e.g., hampers, party offers, live music evenings) are valid for a limited time and may change without notice.
  • Any complimentary items (e.g., influencer hampers) are provided as a goodwill gesture and cannot be exchanged for cash or refunds.
  • Attendance at live music events or special promotions is subject to seating capacity and prior bookings.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

  • Behave respectfully with staff and other patrons
  • Avoid property damage or public nuisance
  • Supervise children and elderly guests
  • Follow safety protocols, especially during events or peak hours

MIMAS reserves the right to deny entry or service to any guest found violating these terms.

Event & Party Bookings

For private events, kitty parties, birthday celebrations, corporate gatherings, and other special bookings at MIMAS:

  • No Outside Items Allowed: Guests are not permitted to bring external sound systems, speakers, hoardings, lighting, or display materials into the premises.
  • No Outside Food or Beverages: Bringing in utside food, beverages, cakes, snacks, or dessertso is strictly prohibited unless explicitly agreed upon in writing in advance.
  • Decorations Policy: Any decorations (including balloons, flowers, backdrops, or table setups) must be discussed in advance and are subject to approval by MIMAS staff. Only minimal, non- damaging décor is allowed. Heavy installations, tapes, nails, or adhesives on walls are strictly prohibited.
  • Advance Payment & Refund Policy: All event bookings require an advance payment. This advance is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation, no-show, or change of event plans.
  • Guest Conduct: The event host is responsible for the conduct of their guests. Any form of property damage, loud or unruly behavior, or violation of alcohol service norms may lead to early termination of the event without refund.
  • Timing Policy: Events must start and end within the mutually agreed time slot. Extension is subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
  • Final Billing: Any extra orders or extended services requested during the event shall be added to the final bill and must be settled at the end of the event.

MIMAS reserves the right to deny entry or service to any guest found violating these terms.

Payments & Billing

  • We accept UPI, cards, cash, and other digital modes as available.
  • Party/event bills must be settled as per the booking agreement.
  • Taxes will be charged as per government regulations.

Liability & Indemnity

  • MIMAS is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings during the visit.
  • We shall not be held responsible for any unforeseen event delays, vendor cancellations, or performance changes during booked events.
  • Guests agree to indemnify MIMAS from claims arising due to misuse of services, rule violations, or third-party actions.

Intellectual Property

All content including brand assets, images, logos, menu design, and digital content is the exclusive property of MIMAS or its licensors and may not be reused without prior permission.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be made available at our premises and on our website.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India, with jurisdiction in Mohali, Punjab.
